Help With Download For Mac
Apple recommends using the latest (newest) macOS that is compatible with your Mac. macOS updates and upgrades help to maintain your computer's security, stability, and compatibility, and they include the latest features and built-in apps.
Using Software Update is faster and easier than upgrading by other methods, and it might require less storage space to download and install the upgrade. Software Update shows only upgrades that are compatible with your Mac.
If the macOS that you want isn't compatible with your Mac or the currently installed macOS, the installer will let you know, and the App Store might prevent you from downloading it. For example, it might dim the Get button, say that the macOS is not compatible with this device, or say that the requested version of macOS is not available.
During initial setup, the Company Portal app requires you to sign in and authenticate yourself with your organization. Company Portal then informs you of any device settings you need to configure to meet your organization's requirements. For example, organizations often set minimum or maximum character password requirements that you'll be required to meet.
If you run into issues during enrollment, go to Help > Send Diagnostic Report to report the issue to Microsoft app developers. This information is used to help improve the app. They'll also use this information to help resolve the problem if your IT support person reaches out to them for help.
Microsoft AutoUpdate makes sure your copy of Office will always be up-to-date with the latest security fixes and improvements. If you are a Microsoft 365 subscriber, you'll also receive the newest features and tools.
If you previously had a one-time purchase of Office on your Mac, but you're now a Microsoft 365 subscriber and aren't seeing certain subscription features, your copy of Office may still be using the license of your one-time purchase and not your subscription. Office 2019 is an upgrade to earlier versions of on-premises Office, including Office 2016. Microsoft Office 2019 for Windows provides 5 years of mainstream support plus two 2 years of extended support as an exception to the 10-year Fixed Lifecycle Policy term. This seven-year term aligns with the support period for Office 2016.

Office 2019 uses Click-to-Run technology to install products directly from the Internet. This makes sure all applications are always up to date. Use the Office Deployment Tool to install Office 2019 or download Office 2019 for deployment on PCs not connected to the Internet.
